Sample Designer in Saint Paul, MN

Sample Designer Local Bag Manufacturer is proactively looking for experienced individual to perform industrial sewing duties. Ideal candidates will have industrial sewing experience and a background in a production/assembly environment. Experience in bag construction, patterning, and prototyping is also a plus. ? Required to perform work and rework in the manufacture of carrying cases. ? Must be able to cut material as required using tools of the trade, to include, but not limited to, handsaw, rotary saw, web cutter, scissors, strap cutter or other cutting device/tool. ? Develop new patterns/templates as required. ? Must have the ability to operate industrial sewing machines and sergers. ? Secondary duties include ability to use math which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions. ? Must be able to operate computing equipment with basic knowledge and navigation skills. ? Have ability to view two (2) and three (3) dimensional drawings while following engineering direction, to include, but not limited to, reading and interpreting digital data. ?
